Dr. Bronwen Lichtenstein wins UA Award for Sociology Project

The 2014 UA Awards Luncheon for the Center for Community Based Partnerships was held Friday, April 18th in the Bryant Conference Center. Sociology students from the Department of Criminal Justice partnered with the West Alabama AIDS Outreach. SOC 360 students (sociology of HIV/AIDS) met with WAAO clients for lunch, fun, and games for the purpose of stigma reduction. Dr. Bronwen Lichtenstein received a UA award for the project.
